We continue to work towards a sustainable future!

We completed the Green Entrepreneurship Bootcamp, which was organised within the scope of the ‘YouthGreen 5.0 – Fair Transition through Green Skills and the Circular Economy’ Project. We held this bootcamp in Ankara from 18–24 June 2026 with our young participants from Türkiye, Spain, North Macedonia and Estonia.

So, what happened during this intense bootcamp? What did our participants and trainers think of the bootcamp? In this video, we conducted short interviews with them to learn their feedback.

We want to thank all our participants and trainers for helping us to build an eco-friendly business world for the future.

The Green Entrepreneurship Bootcamp is set to take place from June 18 to 24, 2026, in Ankara, Türkiye, bringing together aspiring young people from Türkiye, Spain, Estonia, and North Macedonia. Led by academic experts, the program aims to equip participants with practical knowledge and skills in sustainable business development, financial literacy, and the circular economy, while enhancing their awareness and capabilities in designing and developing eco-friendly business models.

This flagship event demonstrates YouthGreen 5.0 Project’s commitment to empowering young people with the tools and knowledge to drive positive change through green entrepreneurship.

The participants will take part in a comprehensive and content-rich program of events during the bootcamp.

After the groups arrive and have completed the orientation programme on 18 June, they will gather for a welcome dinner, where they will have the opportunity to meet each other.

The Bootcamp kicks off on June 19 with the keynote sessions focused on “exploring what sustainability means.” The day will conclude with a vibrant cultural evening where participants from Turkey, Spain, Estonia, and North Macedonia will share their cultures through presentations, music, traditional foods, and folk dances.

On June 20, engaging workshops will be held with participants to explore the foundations of the green economy. Topics such as the transition from a linear to a circular economy, the core principles of the circular economy, the industrial symbiosis approach, and the connection between humans and nature will be addressed through interactive methods.

On June 21, the program will continue under the theme “Understanding Green Skills for Green Entrepreneurship.” Participants will have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the knowledge, skills, and competencies required for green entrepreneurship and explore entrepreneurial approaches that contribute to sustainable development goals through various practical applications. Participants will also take part in a simulation exercise designed to refine their pitching skills for taking action on climate stability as an interactive team simulation game.

Following the “greenwashing” event on June 22, participants will work in teams at the Green Innovation Hackathon—one of the day’s most notable events—to develop innovative and sustainable solutions to environmental and social challenges.

On 23 June, the Bootcamp will introduce participants to real-world applications of green entrepreneurship, exploring topics such as green careers, green database resources, equality in sustainability, green entrepreneurship, and an environmentally focused social vision, culminating in a final action plan. The bootcamp concludes with the certificate delivery and closing ceremony.

On 24 June, participants will complete their networking and sharing activities and depart after check-out.

This training camp will also generate significant added value by providing an opportunity to test the sections of the “Green Skills Training Module”—developed as part of the project—that are directly related to green entrepreneurship in a practical setting and to gather feedback from participants.
