Today is March 30, International Day of Zero Waste Remember, “Zero waste starts on your plate!”
As part of International Day of Zero Waste on March 30, this year’s theme has been set as “food waste.” UN-Habitat and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) have called on the entire world to participate in zero-waste initiatives at the national and local levels.
Info tip: For the first time, Türkiye, with 105 other countries, put forward the resolution. On 14 December 2022, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution at its seventy-seventh session to proclaim 30 March as International Day of Zero Waste, to be observedannually.
