YouthGreen-5.0 Project Second Transnational Project Meeting (TPM2) — 13-14 March 2026

The second transnational project meeting of the YouthGreen 5.0 project (under the European Union's Erasmus+ programme, KA220-YOU, 2025–2027), led by the National Education Foundation (MEV) as the consortium leader and the coordinator, was held on 13–14 March 2026, hosted by ThinkUp Digital in Strumica, North Macedonia. All project partners were present at the meeting: from Türkiye, MEV, AYBU, and PRO-EK; from Estonia, NGO ProConsensio; from Spain, FETICO (joined online), and from North Macedonia, Think Up Digital.

On the first day of the meeting, partners reviewed the plans: the quality assurance plan co-developed by the MEV and the FETICO, the project management plan developed by the MEV, and the green awareness campaign strategy management paper co-developed by the MEV and NGO Proconsensio, and discussed the dissemination arrangements.

The following session focused on advancing the development of the project's intellectual outputs (IOs): the green skills training package, the structure of the green career database, the job transition and green jobs guide, and the AI-supported green transition simulator.

The final session of the meeting was dedicated to the Green Entrepreneurship Camp, which is planned to be held in Ankara in June 2026 under the leadership of AYBU. AYBU presented the content and draft organisational details of the camp and emphasised that the final programme would be shared with partners once the details had been confirmed with the Turkish National Agency.

On the second day, project partners learned about the VELO project from representatives of the Municipality of Strumica, who presented Urban Development through Sustainable Urban Mobility. The partners then visited the municipality's youth centre to gather information on the activities and opportunities available to young people in Strumica.

In the final sessions of the second working day, partners explored strategies for integrating the project's IOs as interconnected resources within a centralised management portal. The meeting was then concluded with a presentation on the project website and the project's financial status, delivered by the MEV.

Throughout the meeting, plans were clarified for future project activities, including the sustainable city policy camp, the next transnational project meeting (TPM) to be organized by FETICO in Spain, and the implementation phases of the green awareness campaign.

This second transnational project meeting represented a notable milestone in the project's evolution, demonstrating its transition from the initial planning phase to the implementation phase. This meeting not only strengthened harmony among the partners but also clarified implementation responsibilities and highlighted the strong synergy between awareness-raising efforts, the educational package, digital tools, and support for youth entrepreneurship.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all our partners who participated in the Second Transnational Project Meeting for their valuable contributions and fruitful discussions, as well as to the Turkish National Agency for its support of the project.
